About
Sneha Nair is a Senior Research Assistant at the Functional Genetics Laboratory at QIMR Berghofer.
She was awarded her MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2018. Currently, her primary focus is on identifying and characterising novel long noncoding RNAs that play critical roles in the development of breast, ovarian, and skin cancers.
Research Skills
Molecular biology, tissue engineering, cell biology, CRISPR editing, and protein biochemistry.
Area of Interest
Her primary research interests are centered on the role of long noncoding RNAs in cancer. She is particularly focused on identifying and characterising these RNA molecules to better understand their function in tumor growth, metastasis, and drug resistance. Her work in breast, ovarian, and skin cancers seeks to elucidate the molecular drivers of these malignancies, contributing to the broader field of cancer biology.
