About
Emily is a highly curious and motivated early career researcher working in fields of neuroscience and immunology. She is a current PhD student in the Cellular and Molecular Neurodegeneration group at QIMR Berghofer. Her project investigates responses of the human brain to bushfire smoke exposure. Emily has an interest in how climate change-related factors impact individual and population health and wellbeing. In prior research experience, she has explored the role of RNA modulation in the nucleus of neurons.
