About

Stephanie obtained her Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree from the Queensland Institute of Technology in 2023.

In 2024 she completed her Honours in Dr Harris’ lab where she began investigating the function of calcium-binding proteins in neural stem cell quiescence.

She is now undertaking her PhD research where she aims to identify and characterise novel regulators of both neural and glioma stem cell quiescence.

Stephanie will employ a range of in vitro and in vivo techniques to expand her previous interrogation of the function of calcium-binding proteins and their related genes into glioblastoma.
