About

Skye has been a Research Assistant with the Molecular Parasitology lab since 2021, with a focus on developing CRISPR-based molecular diagnostics for Schistosomiasis, Hookworm, Strongyloides and other infectious parasites. Skye completed a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) at James Cook University and BSc Honours (Class I) at the University of Queensland. Previously she worked as a Research Assistant at the Synaptic neurobiology lab at the Queensland Brain Institute (2020-2021).
