Seckin Akgul is a medical doctor and scientist with over 10 years of experience in brain cancer research. He received his PhD degree at the University of Michigan in 2015, and MD degree at Griffith University in 2022. As he continues to practice as a medical doctor, his dedication to advancing clinical science remains unwavering. He is currently affiliated with QIMR Berghofer and hold the position of Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland. Within these roles, he is actively engaged in the establishment of a ground-breaking clinical trial for brain cancer treatment. This endeavour involves collaboration with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and neurosurgeons at RBWH, underscoring his commitment to translational research and oncology.
