Michelle completed her master degree in Cancer Therapeutics at Barts Cancer Institute in the UK, before moving to Australia getting her PhD training in Sid Faithfull Laboratory at QIMR Berghofer in 2016. Michelle’s research focusses on establishment of paediatric brain cancer tumour bank, which includes culturing primary cell lines, organoids and establishment of patient-derived xenograft models. She is also working on characterisation of potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of medulloblastoma.
