About

Biomedical machine learning researcher

I am a biomedical researcher with a strong technical foundation in machine learning and a passion for applying AI to advance precision oncology. In my current role as postdoctoral researcher at Dr Nic Waddell’s Medical Genomics group, my research program focuses on developing multi-omics machine learning models, integrating genomics, transcriptomics and histology data, for personalised cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prognostication. My academic track record includes publications on leading journals (Impact factor 10+) on the topics of machine learning and computational biology, showcasing successful collaborations with researchers across Australian and international (UK and the Netherlands) medical research institutes.

Beyond academia, I also possess more than 2 years of industry experience across cloud infrastructure and machine learning roles in the life sciences sector.
