About

Jessica holds a Master of Magnetic Resonance Technology and an Honours degree in Psychological Science from the University of Queensland. Over the past decade, she has worked in various research and academic roles across institutions such as the University of Queensland, Central Queensland University, and QIMR Berghofer. Jessica has also been a Clinical Scientist in a private clinic in Brisbane delivering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to treatment resistant patients with MDD and OCD pathology. Currently, she is a PhD student in the Neurogenetics and Dementia Lab, working on investigating risk factors and early stage biomarkers in cognitive aging and Dementia.

Jessica has extensive experience in neuroimaging, cognitive assessments, and clinical trials, having coordinated studies on brain development, psychiatric conditions, and cognitive interventions. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and contributed to high-impact research projects within the Neuropsychological and Population-Genetics space. In addition to her research work, she has been recognised for her contributions to teaching as a university tutor in psychology.

Outside of work, she enjoys going for hikes, creative hobbies, and learning Japanese.
