Jessica completed Honours in Dr. Lachlan Harris’ lab where she optimised a set of proteomic experiments to probe for novel targets in quiescent cancer stem cells. She is now completing her PhD where she leverages bioinformatic and proteomic approaches to identify, rank and target proteins of interest in quiescent cancer stem cells. Jess is also focused on the discovery of features of healthy stem cell quiescence that may strengthen our understanding of cancer stem cell biology.
