Rehan Villani is an applied genomics researcher working to merge functional molecular genetics and clinical genomics implementation.
Dr Villani has extensive experience building genetic models of disease, but more recently transitioned into a role translating genomics research knowledge into informed clinical practice. By focussing on non-coding variants and clinical application of experimental data, Dr Villani aims to increase diagnostic rates; concurrently improving genomic diagnostics practice while demonstrating the impact of knowledge translation.
