About
I am a mid-career researcher, joined QIMR Berghofer in 2022.
I completed MSc of Molecular Biology/Biomedical Science then PhD in Molecular Medicine, Physiology and Neurobiology Program at the University of Debrecen, Hungary.
During my PhD and my early postdoc years in the US (Rutgers University and University of Baltimore) I investigated the calcium homeostasis of skeletal muscle. More recently my research focused on cardiac muscle physiology, examining the pathophysiology of genetic heart diseases (University of Western Australia) and heart failure (QIMR Berghofer) using different animal models.
