Dayeon (Ash) Kim is an early career researcher, highly motivated in studying molecular and cellular processes in neurodegenerative models. She is currently working at QIMR Berghofer as an honours student, completing her undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Advanced Science, majoring in cell biology and biomedical science in the University of Queensland (UQ). Her honours project encompasses fields of immunology and neuroscience, detailing in cellular and molecular mechanisms of macrophages and its roles in neurodegeneration.
