About
Camilla Pasquali is a visiting master's student from the University of Milan and the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy.
She is currently conducting her thesis research in the Computational Neurogenomics Laboratory under the supervision of Associate Professor Miguel E. Rentería and Dr. Santiago Diaz-Torres.
Her research focuses on Parkinson’s disease, using bioinformatics to investigate the genetic risk factors and molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration. She integrates multi-omics and single-cell data to better understand cell-type-specific processes involved in the disease. She has a strong interest in understanding the brain and the complex biological processes that drive neurological diseases.
