About
Bonnie is a researcher with a special interest in cancer genetics. Her PhD is in skin cancers with a focus on clonal evolution and mutation burden in the sun-exposed premalignant field.
After completing her PhD, she joined the Medical Genomics Laboratory lead by Dr Nic Waddell at QIMR Berghofer.
Her current work focuses on applying machine learning to predict treatment outcomes and refine patient stratification in oesophageal and lung cancers.
She aspires to make a meaningful contribution to the field of personalised medicine, positively impacting the lives of those affected by cancer.
