About
Andreza Ferreira holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from São Paulo State University (UNESP) and a master’s degree in computer science and computational mathematics from the University of São Paulo (USP). She is currently a PhD candidate engaged in a collaborative research project between Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, where she is co-supervised by Professor Sarah Medland.
Since beginning her PhD in 2024, Andreza has focused on developing innovative tools to enhance the clinical application of polygenic risk scores (PRS) in psychiatric disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and anxiety.
